PARTNERSHIP

For this project, we were commissioned by the Conservatoire de Boulogne Billancourt to produce the oratorio Et puis le monde bleu. The aim was to create a backdrop for the stage. Each group was given one of the 7 parts. With Caroline, we were given part 3 on the theme of the passage of time, and after analyzing the text and the music, we came up with the problem: how to represent the passage of time through music?

Two graphic tracks were established: one focused on melancholy, retranscribed with smoke to create a hazy, frame-by-frame effect. and the other was very digital and figurative, representing time with scientific tools and forms such as musical note and time measurements. The first track was selected and from there we worked frame by frame then put on after effect with a reversed effect to have the black background and the white lines. At the end, we added the tetractis color gradient, the next part being purple and yellow.
